  • YMOE/YWOE may qualify for Scholarships to Seminole State College for participating in the program.
  • 95% of YMOE/YWOE Seniors are on track for graduation
  • 95% of the Seniors have qualified for College or Vocation Training (PASS the SAT and ACT)
  • 80% of the Seniors have a 2.7 gpa or above
  • 80% of the Seniors have perfect attendance
  • Some of our Juniors and Senior participate in College Dual-Enrollment classes
  • YMOE/YWOE is an Elective Course for Graduation: Career Readiness & Life Skill Class at five high schools
  • Five Schools have YMOE/YWOE, Seminole, Lyman, Winter Springs, Lake Howell and Lake Mary
  • Over 400 Students are in the program
  • Course offers: Parent Support, Guest Speakers, Mentors, Preparation ACT & SAT, Employability Skills, Tutorial & Academic Support, Professional Development Skills, and Life Skills
  • Community Service: Sharing Center, Can Food Drive and Clothing Drive for homeless students, Cleaning local communities and streets, volunteer at the Senior Citizenship Home. Fundraisers: Hatti, American Cancer Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Voters Registration
  • AT&T awarded YMOE/YWOE with $25,000 in 2014-15
  • The Orlando Magic awarded YMOE/YWOE with $25,000 in 2015-16
  • 50 Lenovo Computers were awarded to the program
  • Field Trips: College & Business Tours, The Florida Classic Football Game, MLK Parade, Zora Neale' Festival, Kennedy Space Center, Rotary Youth Leader Academy
