Yearbook

Seminole High School's Salmagundi Yearbook is a student-run, student-produced publication. It's purpose is to provide an educational opportunity for students while at the same time create a historic work of art to document the activities of each school year for the school and Sanford community.

The students enrolled in yearbook courses develop every aspect of the publication including theme, concept, content, marketing, sales, writing, photography and design. They work with leading industry software for design, illustration and photo editing such as Adobe Creative Cloud InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Dedicated yearbook students can potentially enroll in yearbook all 4 years of high school. Student leaders may also enroll in more than one period of class each year in an effort to lead newer students. The program has grown from 14 students to over 50 students in the past 7 years.

In addition, Salmagundi staff members have the opportunity to earn the Adobe Certifications for Digital Design (Adobe Certified Associate, Visual Design Specialist), as well and Entrepreneurship and Small Business.
