Seminole High School is proud to announce it continues to be one of the most outstanding schools in Seminole County and across the state of Florida. We have had significant gains across every major accountability measure for the 2024–25 school year. SHS improved in every single accountability cell, demonstrating powerful, schoolwide momentum and marking one of the strongest year to year increases in the district. Academic performance shows consistent upward growth across all content areas:
English Language Arts Proficiency: +6%

• English Language Arts Learning Gains: +5%
• ELA Low-Quartile Learning Gains: +7%
• Math Proficiency: +9%
• Math Learning Gains: +8%
• Math Low-Quartile Learning Gains: +6%
• Biology Proficiency: +1%
• U.S. History Proficiency: +14%
• CCA “Acceleration”: +9%
• SHS had a historic graduation rate in 2024-2025 at 95.4%, a 7% increase from 88% in 2023-24.
   

These improvements reflect both stronger core instruction and targeted support that are helping students at all levels grow. This is also the largest graduation rate gain of any high school in Seminole County Public Schools, placing SHS tied with Lake Mary High School, Lake Brantley High School, Winter Springs High School, and Lyman High School in overall graduation rate. Beyond academics, Seminole High School continues to shine in the Arts and Athletics. The Pride of the Tribe Band, SHS Chorus, Orchestra, and Thespian Troupe all earned Superior ratings in their Music Performance Assessments (MPAs) and various competitions, demonstrating excellence across all performing arts programs. The Dazzlers Dance Team continued its tradition of excellence by securing additional State and National Championships. Meanwhile, Athletics remains a point of pride, with numerous teams advancing deep into post-season competition and bringing home trophies to Seminole High School. These results reflect the dedication of our students, the expertise of our teachers, and the strength of our school community. With momentum in every accountability cell, historic arts and athletics achievements, and a record-setting graduation rate, Seminole High School is on a clear upward trajectory!
