The Award-Winning Digital Media & Multimedia program puts students on the front lines of creativity at Seminole High School. DMM students don’t just sit behind a screen—they’re actively creating content that powers the school experience. From producing athletic promos and hype videos to photographing games, performances, and events both on and off campus, students gain authentic, hands-on experience that mirrors the real world of digital media.
Beginning with Digital Media/Multimedia Foundations, students learn the core principles of visual design, digital imaging, and multimedia communication while working with industry-standard software and creative tools.
As students progress through Digital Media/Multimedia Foundations 1–3, they develop skills in graphic design, digital illustration, layout, and visual storytelling—learning to think like designers while producing professional-quality work.
Advanced courses allow students to specialize and expand their creative abilities.
In Digital Media/Multimedia Web Production, students design and build engaging websites and interactive digital experiences.
In Digital Media/Multimedia Motion Graphics Production, students bring ideas to life through animation, motion design, and dynamic visual storytelling used in video, advertising, and digital media.
Students in the program also have the opportunity to earn industry certifications across the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, WordPress, and other industry-standard platforms, strengthening their technical skills and preparing them for college programs and creative careers.
Students have also routinely earned top honors in Florida Scholastic Press Association competitions, winning awards across multiple categories and showcasing their work at a statewide level.
