Freshman Ensemble
Freshman Ensemble is a non-auditioned group of ninth grade students that love to sing! The class introduces many genres of music and focuses on introductory vocal technique and music theory skills.
Concert Choir
Concert Choir is a non-auditioned mixed group for all students interested in singing! The class introduces many genres of music and focuses on introductory vocal technique and music theory skills.
Serenades
Serenades is a non-auditioned group for sopranos and altos interested in singing. This class looks at all types of music from typical choral repertoire, to show choir pieces, to pop tunes. It is a great way for ladies to experience singing, dancing, costumes, and a fun time!
Destiny Show Choir
Destiny Show Choir is an auditioned, mixed Show Choir that focuses heavily on both singing AND dancing. This dedicated group of students have weekly after-school rehearsals and many out-of-class commitments. Students must refer to the chorus calendar on a regular basis to ensure all performances will be attended.
Festival
Festival is an auditioned, mixed choir that focuses on enhancing musical ability and sight-reading. They focus on fun and intense choral literature. This group participates in the Music Performance Assessment and all Chorus concerts on campus.
Gospel
Gospel is an auditioned, mixed group of students that sings sacred, Gospel music. There are many references to God and Jesus in the pieces. This class has many required, outside performance, so students must refer to the chorus calendar on a regular basis to ensure all performances will be attended.
First Take*
This is a small, auditioned group that sings a capella music (music without any instrumental background). This group focuses on sight-reading and reading through a large variety of music within a short period of time. They participate in and sing for many events throughout the school year and have many outside performances. Students must refer to the chorus calendar on a regular basis to ensure all performance will be attended.

**OPPORTUNITIES**
All-State
All-State is a four-day conference where some of the best singers in the state of Florida gather and make beautiful music! Students go through a rigorous audition process including a Musicianship test, sight-reading, and a vocal quality test. Those that make it through go to Tampa to take part in the amazing conference hosted by FMEA. Students work with esteemed clinicians and have a concert for friends and family at the end of the weekend.
Candlelight
Disney's Candlelight Processional takes place at Epcot every year around Christmas time. Students have the opportunity to sing in a mass choir with professional singers, including the infamous Voices of Liberty. The show consists of 12 - 13 difficult arrangements of classic Christmas tunes which students must learn and memorize. They perform alongside famous narrators, including Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, and more.
