Seniors, Did You Miss Ordering Your Cap/Gown?

Seniors, did you miss Herff Jones representatives on campus to take cap/gown orders? You can still order 1 of 3 ways:

 

  1. By phone with a credit card 407-647-4373
  2. In person with cash or credit - 112 Wymore Rd Winter Park, Fl 32789
  3. Online with a credit card : HerffOrlando.com  (do NOT go to HerffJones.com as that will send your cap/gown to the OTHER Seminole HS in TAMPA!!)

Remember, if you put at least $60 down before 12/31/18 your graduation fee is $100.  If you have not at least $60  down by 12/31/18 the fee raises to $140 as of 1/1/19. All graduation fees must be paid in their entirety  by 5/1/19.

SHS Parking

Seminole High School Family,

As you are aware, we have had a few disruptions to our traffic pattern this year, including  a change in our main campus bus ramp, construction on J E Thomas Parkway/25th Street, and a modification on our bus ramp at the 9th grade campus.  We have tried very hard to work through the issues, and to be as lenient as possible but we must ensure that all of our classes get the required number of minutes in order to meet Florida Department of Education requirements.  Please do plan to ensure that you are here on time for school.   

The expectation is that on Monday, November 26th, all drivers will have made all necessary adjustments in order to get to school, and to class on time.  If you have a school bus available to you, I strongly recommend that you consider utilizing it, rather than drop offs and pick ups as this will significantly reduce the number of vehicles in the traffic pattern.

Notice to Parents and Students

Seminole High School does not provide after school supervision beyond 30 minutes after the school day has ended. Students who remain should be under the supervision of coaches or club sponsors and afterward club meetings can meet their parents for pickup at the front of the school. Students who drive should leave immediately after activities are over.


Please do not checkout last 25 minutes of school

Parents,
We are asking your support in NOT checking students out the last twenty minutes of the school day (between the hours of 1:45-2:10 from Monday, Tuesday. Thursday, and Friday, nor between 12:45-1:10), unless it is critical.

Student Check Out Information

Parents and guardians please be aware that we require you to have identification in order for you to checkout your student. We also cannot allow students to be checked out over the phone.


Medical Appointment - Signing Out Procedures

Dear Seminole High School Family,

We kindly ask that you assist us with our Medical Appointment sign-out procedure during the school day. If your student needs to leave campus for a medical appointment during the day they must be picked up by their parent, or the student must bring a signed letter from the parent indicating the date and time of the medical appointment. The information on the note will be verified by calling the phone number in Skyward, not the number provided on the note. Additionally, we ask that you please login to Skyward Family Access to verify that your contact information is correct. Thank you and have a great evening.
