EMBRY-RIDDLE AT SHS!

Seniors, this golden opportunity is for you – interested, contact Dr. Paul Becht and Dr. Sara-Maria Becht, Embry-Riddle Adjunct Professors at SHS, Rm THK-014 ASAP !!

See Drs. Becht to put your name on the list, identify materials you need to gather, and schedule a visit with the Embry-Riddle Admissions Counselor.  Yes the Embry-Riddle Admissions Counselor will visit the SHS campus soon and wants to meet you.  You do not need to travel to the Embry-Riddle University Campus at Daytona Beach for this event.  You can do this without ever leaving the SHS campus. Check with Guidance or Drs. Becht for the date.

Also, Embry-Riddle University is hosting a special day for interested seniors and their parents on the Daytona Beach Campus, Saturday, October 25th from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Registration is required for this event.  See Drs. Becht, THK-014 -- Sign-Up Now!

TEACH IN

Parents, community members, and friends of Seminole High School, make plans now to be a part of Teach-In on Tuesday, November 18. We are looking for volunteers to teach at least one class in this community wide effort.

Teach-In is a perfect opportunity for parents, business leaders and community members to let students know we care about them. It’s simple- join us on Tuesday, November 18 and teach a class or two-whatever your schedule permits. The goal is to have guest teachers in as many classrooms as possible on that day. Teach-In highlights the importance of bringing together teachers, school staff, parents, students and communities in a unified effort to build great public schools. We’ll do our part by giving you some suggestions to prepare you for this volunteer experience with tan informative Teach-In Volunteer Guide.

Please join us in the Seminole Teach-In 2014 on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 and show your commitment to public education! Complete and return the attached Speaker Registration Form.  To participate in Seminole County Public Schools Teach-In you must be a registered volunteer.
