Ninth Grade Center Director

Mrs. Jaime Washington, Director of Seminole High School Ninth Grade Center – Edward Blacksheare Campus.

A native of Florida, she began her education career in 2000. She earned her Bachelor’s and Masters of Science, and currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Administrator Leadership for Teaching and Learning.

She has successfully thrived in several educational leadership roles.  After efficiently fulfilling the position as a teacher, she transitioned with ease into various leadership appointments: Dean of Students for Sanford Middle School, Assistant Principal for Lake Brantley and Winter Springs High School, and currently Director of Seminole High School’s Ninth Grade Center.

Presently, her responsibilities for the ninth grade center include: ESE, Guidance, Math, Science, and Transition.  In addition, her assignments include: articulation for students from middle to high school, 9th grade orientation, Noles Nation Expo, and School Advisory Council (SAC).  

Her goal in education is to cultivate the potential in every student to thrive as a global citizen by inspiring a love for learning, encouraging civic engagement, challenging and supporting every student to achieve academic excellence, while embracing the full richness and diversity of our community.

In her spare time, she enjoys baking and traveling with her family.
